Treadmill Training

In treadmill training you are taught how to train your dog to walk, trot, and run on a treadmill for exercise. The treadmill can be electric or manual. This can be done through a Private Lesson where you and your dog go to the trainers facility or through an In Home Lesson where the trainer comes to your house. If you decide to do an In Home Lesson you will need a treadmill that is an adequate size for your dog. Private Lessons are $30 for 30 minutes and In Home Lessons are $35 for 30 minutes.

Scent Detection

In Scent Detection you are taught how to train your dog to detect specific scents. These scents can be anything from narcotics to seeds, blood, other animals, or people. The owner will need to provide the scent. This can be done through Private Lessons where you and your dog go to the trainers facility or through In Home Lessons where the trainer goes to your house. In some cases it may take some of both to properly train a dog for Scent Detection. Private Lessons are $40 for 30 minute sessions. In Home Lessons are $45 for 30 minute sessions.

Litter Training

The trainer will either train a whole litter of puppies or teach the breeder how to train litters of puppies. This training consists of potty training, crate training, started on basic obedience (sit, maybe down), and leash training (walking on a leash without being scared, not "heel"). The trainer can either train the litter of puppies at their facility or at the breeders facility.

  • If the trainer is training the litter at their facility, not the breeders, it will cost $700. The trainer will get the litter AND the mother when the puppies are 5 weeks old and starting to eat solid food. The trainer will keep the pups and train them daily until the puppies are 8-9 weeks old, depending on when the breeder allows them to go to their new homes. The breeder will need to provide food, shots, dewormer, and any other medications/etc. The trainer will feed, give shots/dewormer/medication, etc, if the breeder provides it.

  • If the trainer is training at the breeders facility (only if located in or near Mexico), it will cost $600. The trainer will start working with the puppies when they turn 5 weeks old and are starting to eat solid food. They will be trained daily until they are 8-9 weeks old, depending on when the breeder allows them to go to their new homes. The breeder will need to feed, give shots/medication, and deworm; not the trainer.

  • If the trainer is teaching the breeder how to train litters at the breeders facility (only if located in or near Mexico), it will cost $650. The training will start when the puppies are 5 weeks old and are starting to eat solid food and last until they are 8-9 weeks old, depending on when the breeder allows them to go to their new homes. The trainer will go to the breeders facility every day for the first week or two to show/train the breeder and make sure the breeder is doing everything correctly. The last week or so the trainer will observing and stepping in when needed to help.

  • The trainer will NOT teach a breeder how to train litters of puppies at the trainers facility.
